I went to Bealls over the weekend and upon paying for my items at the register, the lady by the name of Jennifer asked me to open a credit card account to save big on my items. I said no because I didnt want any hard inquiries on my credit report. She begged and pleaded stating it was a very soft inquiry and would not show up on my credit report. She even stated applied for the card and it did not show up on her account. After she stated that, I agreed to apply for the credit card. Well, this morning as I look on my credit report, it has a hard inquiry on my account. I am beyond pissed and very disappointed in being lied to for a credit card. Take it from me, opening an account with them is NOT a good idea if you dont want a hard inquiry on your account that takes 2 years to get rid of.
